History

From the 18th century to today

Mas Casalprim is an 18th-century farmhouse in a privileged setting, at the heart of the Garrotxa Volcanic Natural Park. It has been carefully restored using noble and sustainable material, wood and stone. A farmhouse with history, self-sufficient and low emissions.

We firmly believe in the circular economy; we want to close the loop. House heating and hot water needs are covered using only wood from our forests, we recover rainwater per our garden watering and produce power using solar panels. With our organic residuals we feed our chickens, and the rest becomes compost.

We enjoy mindful walks through our oak groves and humid forests.

We work the gardens and livestock regeneratively. Permaculture allows us to respectfully obtain what we need from the land.
